The Annapurna region is well known as a famous tourist destination of the world. It offers the tourists
to come to Nepal for the trekking with its Himalayan ranges including Thorong-La pass (5416m), Tilicho Lake (5119 mt.), Poonhill (3210m ) Annapurna Base camp (4130m)  lies on one of the best viewpoint  of world. This region presents itself as a unique collection of picturesque diversities of nature and its beauty on the one hand and of ethnicity, cultures religions and many other social characteristics on the other. This region is unique in the world also because it has twelve different Himalayan peaks of higher than 7000mt. and many other peaks higher than 6000mt. So this region offers the mountaineering possibilities for all types of mountaineers. The gorges of this region made by Kali Gandaki River is regarded as one of the deepest gorges of the earth which offers various subjects matters of research for geologists and big forest of rhododendron of different types of colour and many other types of flora attract both heart and soul of every human being. Moreover, the fresh water lakes, rivers, rivulets, big and small cascades, big mountains, ridges, village and rural communities are among other distinguished features of this region.
